2 egg whites
2 cups powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla
⅛ tsp salt
1 tsp vinegar
1½ cups pecans; chopped

Beat egg whites with salt until soft peaks form. Gradually fold in sugar, vinegar, and vanilla and continue beating until very stiff. Fold in pecans. Drop by teaspoon on greased baking sheet. Bake at 300° for 15-20 minutes or until firm (cookies should remain light-colored). Makes about 3½ dozen small cookies.
