4 tbsp butter
2 cans minced clams
1 tbsp dillweed
2 cups crushed saltines
2 eggs; beaten
2 cups milk
2 tbsp minced onion

Coat casserole with melted butter. In bowl mix clams with juice, onion, dillweed, crackers, eggs, milk, and pepper to taste. Mix and place in casserole. Sprinkle well with paprika. Let stand 2 hours or overnight. Bake ½ hour at 350° or until well set.
