Preheat oven to 350°. Grease a 9×13 pan.
Brown 1 pound sausage; drain.
While browning sausage, beat
8 eggs
Cut up 6 pieces of bread into cube size pieces; mix with eggs
Add 2 cups milk
¼ tsp ground mustard
¼ tsp salt
1 cup grated sharp cheddar cheese

Add sausage; stir and let set 8-10 hours. Bake for 35 minutes. (I have baked it just after mixing; the flavor is not quite as good.)
