½ cup oleo
1⅔ cups sugar
1¼ cups flour
3 eggs
½ tsp salt
1 (12 oz) package chocolate chips; semisweet
1 tsp vanilla
½ tsp baking powder
1 cup chopped nuts
Heat oven to 350°. Grease 13×9 pan. In a 3-quart saucepan heat oleo and chips over low heat, stirring until melted. Stir in remaining ingredients except nuts until smooth. Stir in nuts. Spread in pan. Bake 25-30 minutes, until the center is set. Cool. Can ice. Cut in bars.
