2 cups self-rising cornmeal
3 tbsp dried onion flakes
1 egg; well beaten
¾ cup milk
Combine well. Let sit for a few minutes. Form into rolls or balls and fry in hot, hot deep fat until golden brown. Drain well. Serve very hot.
