2½ cups milk
¼ cup flour
2 cups sugar
6 eggs
½ cup cornstarch
Juice of 1 lemon
1 tbsp butter
Pinch salt
⅓ cup cold water

Separate eggs. Save whites for meringue. Place milk in pan and heat. Mix flour, cornstarch with ⅕ cup water, and beaten egg yolks, add sugar. Mix real fast into milk. Stir in a pinch of salt, add butter, lemon juice. Cool
