Grease a large loaf pan. Spread over the bottom one large can of crushed pineapple, being careful to get into the corners. Over this sprinkle one box yellow cake mix; dry. Sprinkle crushed pecans generously over this and then cover the entire pan with pats of butter (about 1½ sticks). Bake at 350 degrees for about 30-35 minutes or until golden brown. Delicious! Can substitute the pineapple with peaches if desired.
