Step 1
Boil, de-bone, and cut up chicken or chicken parts. Reserve liquid (approximately 4 cups chicken). Put chicken in 9×13 casserole.
Step 2
2 cups Bisquick, ⅓ cup milk, cup slimmed chicken broth. Mix dough. roll out on floured board ¼” thick. Cut with doughnut or biscuit cutter. Now make the sauce.
Step 3
4 tbsp skimmed chicken fat or oleo, 4 tbs flour. Stir until moistened. Beat in 1½ cups broth and ½ cup milk. Stir until all is dissolved and thickened (medium thick). Only add salt if needed. Add more milk or stock until hot (keep medium; will scorch). Pour hot sauce over chicken. Hurriedly place rings or biscuits all over top. Brush with melted oleo. Can lightly pepper. Cook in 400° oven for about 30 minutes until biscuits are light brown and sauce bubbly.
