1 cup sugar
1 tbsp oleo
1 cup nuts; chopped
¼ tsp salt
1 cup flour
1 can sour cherry & juice
1 tsp soda
1 egg; beaten

Cream oleo and sugar. Add beaten egg. Add dry ingredients, cherries, juice, and nuts. Stir well; do not beat. Bake 25 minutes in a loaf Pyrex dish that was well buttered.

Sauce:
1 cup brown sugar
1 tbsp oleo
1 tsp vanilla
3 tbsp flour
¾ cup hot water
1 cup nuts; chopped

Cook sugar, flour, oleo, and water until thick. Add vanilla and nuts. Pour over hot pudding. Serve with Cool Whip.
